Investment Disclaimer
We'd rather over-explain this than have you misunderstand it: here's exactly what our role is — and isn't — when it comes to your money.
Last updated: 10 June 2026
We facilitate. We don't manage your money.
Perlin Ventures Limited is a consulting and investment facilitation firm. We help clients research, structure, and execute their own decisions — company setup, property acquisition, partner introductions, due diligence. We are not a licensed securities dealer, fund manager, or investment bank, and we are not regulated by the Capital Markets Authority of Kenya as an investment adviser. We never take custody of client investment funds.
Nothing here is investment advice
Content on this site — including service pages, blog posts, resources, and any figures or examples — is general information. It is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset, and it is not an offer or solicitation of securities. Any decision you make should be based on your own circumstances and independent professional advice.
Figures are illustrative
Where we show prices, yields, or growth percentages, they illustrate the kind of opportunities we work on. Markets move, and past performance is not a guide to future results. Specific opportunities shared inside an engagement come with their own due-diligence documentation — that's the material to rely on, not a website graphic.
Real estate in Kenya carries real risk
We say this to every client, so we'll say it here too. Kenyan property can be an excellent investment, and it also carries risks that catch people out:
- Title fraud and competing ownership claims.
- Off-plan developments that stall or never break ground.
- Market and currency movements between purchase and exit.
- Regulatory and county-level changes affecting land use.
Our due-diligence work exists precisely because of these risks — but no process eliminates them entirely.
Do your own due diligence
Before committing capital, take independent legal and financial advice from professionals licensed in your jurisdiction and in Kenya. If you engage us, we'll often be the ones insisting on it.
Engagements have their own terms
When you become a client, the scope of our work, our fees, and our responsibilities to you are set out in a written engagement letter. That document — not this website — governs our relationship. See also our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
